A visit to the People's Park

We had another great night....Clarissa went to sleep at 7pm and aside from a bottle and new diaper at 4am she slept right until 6am or so. She woke up a very happy girl. More smiles and happy mumbling sounds. She really enjoyed skyping with Grandma for the first time today....she talked about it for the rest of the day.

We went to a place called the People's Park today. It was quite beautiful, but boy was it freakin' hot!!!! Daddy sweated out a good 5 or 10 pounds...but don't worry, he took care of that with cold beer (of some type....couldn't read the label) at lunch. It was great getting back into the air conditioned bus. Then we stopped at a porcelain shop before coming back to the hotel (hmmmm....maybe we stopped at before lunch....I don't know...working on very little sleep...in any case we did both things at some point). When we got back to the hotel we were expecting the regular afternoon cries, but to our surprise we had a very happy, playful little girl who was dishing out a bunch of smiles and laughs and started a new game with Mommy shaking their heads 'No'. Daddy suspects he's going to get alot of that in the days/years to come.
